http://fra.europa.eu/en/publication/2019/child-participation-research The more and more I read into this, the more it seems obvious that y'all are right- the issue is more so on personal information and protected information, not really just a random survey on tulpas

The "raw data" will be posted, but I will add statistical noise for privacy. And this survey would be opt-in

I'm not collecting sensitive info like government names, DOBs, or anything like that. At most you can put a username and your age it's completely optional (edited)

That’s fine if you want a general survey on tulpamancy experiences, not a census of the general population of a community.

I think both have value, but are different.

By calling something a census, it implies that a diverse population will be polled to find trends and averages within the wider group. I see age as a part of that. Median age for starting tulpamancy, etc.

If you’re looking for a general census of the community, I think you’d have to be willing to accept the fact that a lot of tulpa systems are neither long-lasting or functional, and that for the sake of data, that’s something that should be considered.

Luminesce: I don't mind new systems that are 18+ (edited)

Bennett ˗ˏˋM&M´ˎ˗ BOT 6/21/2023 4:24 AM
If you’re looking for something less cohesive, then 18+ is fine, I just think it would be important to see the full scope of the data

But yeah we ended up saying the data can all be gathered and just sorted

tbh if we're differenciating by physical age, I think we should sort by how long the human has been tulpamancing too

Those terms differ culturally, iirc. Different cultures consider different ages to be "young adults" or senior.

You could argue that 19 is a "young adult" AND a teen, it can fall into both.

If the binds are the same width, it can make the data more intuitive But I realized that 13-17 is 5 years, so if the others are 10 years, then you can assume that the 13-17 bracket is half the data
